Hiking the Weminuche Trail

August 9 - August 17, 2014

My brother Jason and I are once again attempting to hike the Weminuche Wilderness. A nearly 100 mile through hike of the largest Wilderness area in Colorado. Our last attempt was cut short due to a knee injury. Read about that trip here. We are following the same plan as last time. The biggest change will be the first half of the hike will mostly be through burn area as a large portion of the Weminuche Wilderness burned in 2013.
